Shaadi.com founder and Shark Tank India judge Anupam
Mittal recently extended a unique wedding gesture to Jeet Adani, son
of billionaire Gautam Adani, and his wife Diva Jaimin Shah.
Sharing the news on social media, Mittal revealed that he
had officially removed Jeet Adani’s profile from Shaadi.com, which had been
created as a joke by his friends during their school days.
"As promised, here’s a small wedding gift from me to
you and Diva, Jeet Adani. We have deleted your profile from Shaadi.com now that
you’ve confirmed your participation in Shark Tank India," Mittal
posted on X. He also shared a screenshot confirming that no profile under Jeet
Adani’s name existed anymore.
How the Profile Came Into Existence
During a discussion on Shark Tank India’s ‘Beyond The
Tank’ segment, Jeet Adani shared a humorous incident about how his name
ended up on Shaadi.com.
"In 7th or 8th grade, my friends set up a fake
profile using my name on Shaadi.com as a prank. I never knew whose email
or phone number was used, but the profile remained active for years,"
Jeet recalled, laughing.
He had previously attempted to remove the profile but was
unsuccessful, leading him to personally request Mittal for help. "Please
get rid of it! I’m getting married!" he joked during the conversation.
Jeet Adani and Diva Shah’s Wedding
On February 7, Jeet Adani tied the knot with Diva
Jaimin Shah in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by close family
and friends. After the wedding, Jeet Adani shared their first official
wedding photos, captioning them:
"Mr. and Mrs. Adani - To infinity and beyond!"
