music producer, known by the name Honkon, lost his brand-new Ferrari 458
Spider to a fire just an hour after its delivery. The car, worth approximately ¥43
million (around ₹2.6 crore), was reduced to ashes within 20 minutes,
dashing a dream that took him 10 years of savings to fulfill.
According to The Sun and Yahoo Japan, the

on the Shuto Expressway. Honkon, who had just taken delivery of the luxury
sports car, noticed smoke coming from the engine and immediately pulled

“I think I'm the only person in Japan experiencing this kind
of trouble,” he shared on social media platform X, expressing his shock and
heartbreak.
Eyewitnesses described a horrific scene as passing vehicles
slowed down to witness the blazing Ferrari. Despite efforts to control the
blaze, the car was completely destroyed by fire. There were no reports
of a collision or external impact causing the fire, leading authorities to
believe it was likely a mechanical or engine-related malfunction.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has launched
an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. In the meantime, the

devastating loss.
