South Korean actors Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Joo Bin,
known for their recent performances in The Divorce Insurance and Karma,
opened up about the global boom of Korean content and how it has
impacted their careers and creative choices.
🎭 Versatility and
Storytelling: Lee Kwang Soo
Known for his comic timing and emotional depth, Lee Kwang
Soo, who rose to fame through the variety show Running Man, has
showcased his range this year through two contrasting roles — a romantic lead
in The Divorce Insurance and a darker character in Karma.
“I accept a role if the story moves me and the character
seems interesting enough for me to explore,” said the actor, who has been in
the industry for over 15 years.
Despite the increasing international fanbase, Kwang Soo
insists that his creative process remains unchanged: “The way I work
remains the same. I just try to do my best with every project.”
🌟 Lee Joo Bin’s
Breakthrough and Gratitude
Lee Joo Bin, who won hearts with her performance as Cheon Da
Hye in Queen of Tears, continues to ride the wave of success with The
Divorce Insurance. For her, the global appreciation of Korean dramas
feels almost unreal.
“Growing up, I never imagined something like this. I’m
grateful to the creators who attracted such worldwide attention,” she said.
Determined to connect with her international fans, Joo Bin
added, “To give back all the love I’m receiving, I have to communicate with my
fans and for that, I have to learn English even harder.”
🌍 K-Dramas Go Global
With K-dramas becoming household favorites across
continents, both stars agree that authentic storytelling and dedicated
performances are key — regardless of whether the audience is local or
international.
As Korean content continues to break barriers and find fans
globally, actors like Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Joo Bin remain committed to their
craft — blending heart, humor, and humanity in every role they take on.
