expectations for his upcoming action thriller Sikandar. During the
film's trailer launch event in Mumbai, the actor boldly predicted that the
movie would surpass the ₹200 crore mark at the box office, regardless of its
reception.
Salman Khan Guarantees Sikandar’s Success
At the grand trailer launch event on Sunday, Salman Khan
expressed his confidence in the film’s performance, emphasizing that his movies
always receive immense love from fans. While discussing the box office
prospects, he stated:
"Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s
the love of the people. Picture acchi ho ya buri ho, woh sau (₹100 crore) toh
paar kara hi dete hain (Whether the film is good or bad, it will at least cross
₹100 crore).”
However, Salman quickly corrected himself, asserting that
₹100 crore is now an outdated benchmark. He confidently declared:
"₹100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain (₹100 crore is
a thing of the past).”
Salman’s Strong Track Record at the Box Office
Salman Khan has been a dominant force in Bollywood for
decades, with multiple films crossing the ₹100 crore milestone. His box office
reign began in 2010 with Dabangg, which became his first film to enter
