Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to move
out of his iconic Mannat bungalow for the first time in over two
decades. As extensive renovation work begins at his Bandra residence in
May, the actor and his family will temporarily shift to Puja Casa, a
luxury apartment complex in the Pali Hill area. This move will mark a
significant change in SRK’s lifestyle, as he will now have next-door
neighbors for the first time in 20 years.
Where Is Shah Rukh Khan Moving?
Shah Rukh Khan, along with his wife Gauri Khan and
their children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, will be relocating to two
duplex apartments in Puja Casa, a premium residential building co-owned by
filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani. The lease agreement includes occupancy of the first,
second, seventh, and eighth floors, giving the Khan family ample space and
privacy.
The move is expected to last at least two years, as
the renovation work at Mannat involves significant structural changes. Since
Mannat is classified as a Grade III heritage structure, modifications
require special permissions from the authorities, which have now been secured.
Why Is Mannat Under Renovation?
Mannat, one of the most famous celebrity homes in India, has
long been a symbol of Shah Rukh Khan’s success. However, SRK had planned a major
extension of the bungalow, which has been delayed due to regulatory
approvals. Now that all necessary permissions have been granted, the actor is
moving out temporarily to allow for the expansion and redesign of his
residence.
Reports suggest that the renovation will include additional
living spaces, interior upgrades, and possibly a new wing to
accommodate the growing needs of the Khan family.
Meet SRK’s New Neighbours
Puja Casa has been home to the Bhagnani family for years.
Film producer Vashu Bhagnani, his son Jackky Bhagnani, and
daughter Deepshikha Deshmukh reside in the building. Jackky, who
recently married actress Rakul Preet Singh, also lives in the apartment
complex.
With SRK moving in, the Bhagnanis will now be his immediate
neighbours for the next couple of years. Their association with Bollywood
makes this an interesting shift, as two film industry families will now be
living under the same roof.
Security and Privacy Measures for the Khan Family
Given Shah Rukh Khan’s stature and the immense public
interest in his life, his team is taking extensive measures to ensure privacy
and security at Puja Casa. The apartments have been leased for three
years, providing ample flexibility in case the renovation at Mannat takes
longer than expected.
The luxury complex is already equipped with high-end
security features, but additional safety protocols will be put in place to maintain
privacy and control access to the actor and his family.

Despite this shift, Mannat remains an irreplaceable
part of Shah Rukh Khan’s legacy. The iconic bungalow has been his residence

return to a newly revamped and grander Mannat is something fans eagerly
